Transfer Applicant Procedures

 
Saint Theresa’s Medical University will evaluate applications to any of our programs on an individual basis. All transfer applicants must be from a university, school, or college which is regionally recognized; listed by the World Health Organization; the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates; or some other recognized governing body within its geographical territory.
* Our 9-page application must be completed.  To obtain our application form, you will need to either email us at admissions@stmu.org or telephone us at 1-800-649-8175.
1.  The Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) is required for all applicants to the School of Medicine. The Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT) is required for all applicants to the School of Pharmacy.  Official results from an admission examination from your country's jurisdiction if the two tests are not available in your country.
4. Notarized Copies of any degrees including High School Diploma received.
5. Three letters of recommendation, two of which must be from Professors in the area of Chemistry & Biology, as well as a personal reference from a Physician or Pharmacist who is not the applicant's healthcare provider.
6. A Police Report from the local police force within the applicant’s hometown.
7. Four passport-sized photographs with the applicant’s signature and social security number listed on the back.
8. Two copies of a valid US passport.
9. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
10. A Personal Statement, a single page, double spaced and typewritten.  Please provide any additional information, which you believe, would be of assistance to the Admission Committee in determining your qualifications for admission to the University.
11. An Essay, a single page, double spaced and typewritten.  Please also detail for the Admission Committee your reasons for choosing Saint Theresa's Medical University, what contributions you feel that are needed to the field of medical science and pharmacology, as well as how your previous education and life experience will enable you to make significant contributions to your chosen area of study/research.
12.  A completed History and Physical Examination performed by a Physician.
